Meet Coach Genaro

Hello my name is Genaro Rodriguez and my hobbies include sports, learning how to swim freestyle, living a healthy lifestyle, and doing research/reading to learn and being more knowledgeable. I am a Military Veteran and I have to say that while I was in the Military I was in the best shape of my life. I've been out since 2010 and I gained about 20 lbs right away. I am slowly but surely getting back to my Military weight, I have lost 15 lbs by eating healthier and working out. That combination seems to be working out great for me.  I have removed all sodas, sugar, processed foods from my diet and I swim and do body weight exercises.  Remember that it is a journey and not just a quick solution.  It takes planning, time, and commitment to reach your goals.  Stay strong and god bless. My favorite health food would have to be Teriyaki Chicken with steamed brown rice and veggies.  Of course, very limited teriyaki sauce and soy sauce and lots of hot sauce.  Love the burn!  My favorite cheat food is my weakness a freshly made chocolate donut.  Yum, yum! My favorite workout is swimming in the pool. I love the feeling of swimming laps and the water gliding over my body.  I also love it because it is so much easier on my joints and it burns a good number of calories.  My least favorite exercise would have to be sit ups for sure, no, no, ...............no. So that's my story what's yours?​
